Next Harry Potter Movies To Be In 3D!

OK, mustn’t get too excited, need to calm down…

Ah screw it, the next Harry Potter films will be in 3D! Rejoice, rejoice!

Alright, it’s not officially confirmed but give it a few days and it will be because Warner Bros. have been seriously considering it. The cost of converting a film into 3D has come down a bit recently to about $5 million, which, considering how much money these films are going to make, is going to seem like a drop in the ocean.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 3D tests for Clash of The Titans went down very well with executives and we’re waiting on final confirmation for that, so it’s looking really good for Potter.

Luckily, part one of The Deathly Hallows is slated for a November release so there’s plenty of time to convert the footage in 3D. But will they bother to convert the previous films? Here’s hoping.
